Unrelated Family Reunion
Founded: 1995

The Unrelated Family Reunion organizes adventure travel experiences designed to redirect the anomie and anxiety of daily survival in western civilization toward a spirit of community and tribal connection.  Our programs include trekking, clothing optional bathing, music, photography, and group meal preparation.  Many of our program participants have characterized our events and site seminars as "Summer Camp for Adults" which is fitting because many adults remember their youthful camping experiences with a feeling "I wasn't experienced enough to enjoy it."  We welcome your ideas on how we can serve your community/cultural needs better.

*The acronym for Unrelated Family Reunion has, curiously, always been
"URF" It has become a tradition on URF events for our participants to
group-chant the Urf Chant.
